My 2019 Travel Wishlist | Sav's Suitcase
Wanderlust always hits hard this time of year. The excitement of the holidays has worn off and the thought of cold, long days loom overhead. So as a treat to myself I like to daydream about all the places I would go if my bank account and vacation policy allowed me to. So here is a quick roundup of the places I am dying to go this year. Where are you dying to go this year?
Italy, Anywhere in Italy
Who wouldn’t want to go Italy?! The gelato, the cannoli, the pasta, the wine! (Maybe I just want Italian food?) Even though I have been to Italy before, my interest has been recently renewed. Most people in my life already know that last year I found out my biological grandfather was from Naples, Italy. Now I have a huge (and I mean HUGE Italian family) that has me itching to go back to Italy with a fresh perspective. I would love to go to Naples and see where my family comes from and enjoy that delicious Italian grub!
Ever since a friend of mine on my study abroad trip told me about Montreal I have been wanting to go. I love cities and this little treasure is only a short plane ride away. Montreal is often compared to a European city, but it is only a hop, skip and jump away! Montreal seems to be filled with cozy cafes, lots of breweries and stunning architecture.
Amsterdam has been on my list for years! Amsterdam feels like it would be so easy to get lost in- wandering into cafes and stopping by museums without a care in the world. While I’m not sure if I’ll be perusing the streets of Amsterdam during 2019 - a girl can dream!
Luckily I’ll be heading to Philadelphia in a few short weeks to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! Where is your next trip taking you?
